Poker Aces – how to gamble them

[ English ]

Poker Aces references two aces being dealt before theflop. It is the best possible before theflop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this a good many gamblers end up on the wrong end when given this hand.

When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out before theflop. You’re positioned with the best possible hand at this stage of the round. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I would say absolutely no to that.

Keep in mind, you’re trying to produce as much money from this strong position. You want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will actually drive most players into folding without putting a wager.

If you’re in the early position (1st or second to cast a bet), you will place a single wager. Any player with a good hand will call, hopefully someone might raise. If someone has made a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your plan will be to get rid of any player that could get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are fortunate you’ll trick one player into believing that you are tricking.

If you’re in the center or later seat (near the last to cast your bet) you will watch as every player calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to abstain from a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players drop out following the flop. If you don’t force out your competitors you chance squandering your hand.
