Caribbean Poker Regulations and Tricks
Online poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players are given 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you have to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a sum on par with the original bet. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pays chips even with your original bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
